Consequently, this ‘anatomical’ eye shape forms the foundation for a multitude of modern eyewear designs. This Buddy design is the foundation of most iconic 50s eyewear.

Fitting notes: This 1950s classic shape has a keyhole bridge that is suitable for average to larger faces that need wider keyhole bridge fittings. The wider bridge allows the top rims to position themselves along or below the brow line, which can shorten a longer face as well as fitting snugly into the face.
