Black Eyewear’s iconic cat eye

Black Eyewear’s iconic cat eye

The cat eye is truly the look of the season, and it’s Black Eyewear’s iconic designs that are leading the renaissance. ALICE has been a sell out, after a star turn on the streets at Fashion Weeks around the world.

But the iconic ALICE design isn’t the only cat eye in Black Eyewear’s repertoire. The brand’s best sellers also include the ABBEY frame,  a perfect, movie star shape for small faces of all shapes. The combination of a low angled cat eye and a wider bridge allows an easy alignment with the brow line and a comfortable bridge fit.

The PALOMA frame has never gone out of style, almost stealing the show most recently in the music video for Sophie Ellis Bextor’s newest single, ‘Wild Forever‘, set on the sun-soaked coast of Mexico’s Puerto Vallarta.

The newest frame on the block however is the DEEDEE, A curving upper rim cat eye of mid Atlantic origin, usually adorned with diamante décor.  This style was seen among the audience at the 1958 classic festival ‘Jazz on a summer’s Day’.
