Inspired by individuality, innate personal style and diversity, Black Eyewear set out to give voice to the amazing pool of real characters shaping our everyday with their beauty and creativity.

Each image portrays an unique point of view.
We travelled from London to the English seaside to photograph our new designs on faces found among Black Eyewear’s friends, family and established customers.

Back in January we decided to run a casting call on our Social Media, we wanted to represent our customers’ sensibility, all the different personalities of Black Eyewear. We were overwhelmed and humbled by the response – we loved your emails and feedback, thank you! – and had the opportunity to meet Rita.

Our Faces for Spring 2019 also include special guests such as actress Jenny Runacre – who welcomed us into her eclectic, technicolor home and gave us some insight into her colourful world – model Rachel Rutt and Black Eyewear’s designer Robert Roope!

We collaborated with London based photographer Markn Nogue and stylist Emma Simmonds to help us represent each individual style, personality and interpretation of Black Eyewear’s collection.

We are excited to share with you the beautiful portraits of friends far and wide.
